Milltown Community United over new School initiative.

Milltown School Initiative

Hundreds of children, families and all members of the community young and old came out on Sunday to support the campaign to provide a school for the children and community of Milltown.

The Campaign / How to help / Contact

It wasn’t all about young families, it is clear this is affecting the whole community.  Community members spoke about how it affects them in different ways as the community struggles with no school.

More than this though, it was a day of hope & celebration.  Children played together.  Families and neighbours met, quite often for the first time.  Others who had attended the previous schools in Milltown came to tell their story.  Really, it was a day of possibilities, to see what having a school back in Milltown would mean.

Thank you all for making it such a special day and for your ongoing support to the campaign! We have to extend our gratitude to a number of those who helped it succeed including:
